Ingredients:
2.2 lbs of beef meat (black angus or other)
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 lbs of carrots
2 tomatoes
2 large onions or 3 if it’s small
5 cloves of garlic
Salt, pepper, saffron
Thyme and parsley
50cl of red wine
The steps of the recipe:
Chop the meat then put it in soy sauce for one hour,
Cut the carrots, the onions and crush the garlic,
After the meat is macerated, set a pot on medium fire and pour 4 to 5 tablespoons of oil (the mixture of 4 vegetable oils is better),
Put in hot oil the meat and brown it until the meat is reduced,
Add onions first then garlic,
Salt and pepper and add a teaspoon of saffron,
Add the thyme and tomatoes and when the all are reduced,
Add carrots and the wine,
Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes,
To finish, garnish with parsley.
