Quantities : 4 servings → 8 breads / Preparation : 15 mn / Baking : 10 mn
Utensils :
- A scale
- A salad bowl
- A frying pan
Ingredients :
-420 grams of flour
-1 teaspoon oil (olive, sunflower, walnuts)
-250 millilitres of warm water
-1 bag of chemical yeast
Instructions :
Mix flour, yeast and salt in a salad bowl or a pothole
While continuing to mix add water then oil
Knead until the dough is no longer sticky (add a little flour if the dough is too sticky or a little water if it is too difficult to handle)
The dough does not need rest, so you can make a big ball that you divide into eight dough pieces
Reform balls before spreading: either round or in length
Heat a pan with a little oil, put your dough spread to cook
⚠️If you use your breads to garnish and cook them again, cook them lightly
Ideas for topping them:
For one, grated or sliced cheddar cheese, turkey breast, tomato slices, grated Gruyère cheese
For the other, fresh cream with dill, salt and pepper, slices of tomatoes, salmon and mozarella
All combinations are possible according to your desires and preferences!
Hello, Thank you for this recipe, it reminds me of the italian "piadina" which is also quick to prepare, I don't know if you know this italian dish, it's from the northern part of Italy. I'm definitely tempted to try your recipe now, I would be able to spot the difference between these recipes ! I I would taste both, which is also a delicious activity to look forward to 😋 I hope you still enjoy cooking and baking (I am telling this because I'm letting this comment a bit more than one year after your published your post, as I also am a student in Mrs Bouhmid's class). It is a great thing that cooking is a universal activity, your blog…
Good evening Véronika,
Thanks for your answer. I think it could be a good idea to help students or other people without oven to cook healthy recipes.
The vinegar doesn't change the taste, but you can also use lemon juice. If you want, go to the blog evannh.wixsite.com/website and on my own post about bicarbonate of soda 😉.
Have a nice evening!
Hi Vero, good job for your blog and thanks for this easy recipe.
Could you give the proportion of flour in tablespoonful, please? I'm often in camping and don't have a measure bowl. I will try this panini bread which don't need an oven to be cooked! Great ;-).
Could I suggest that you can use bicarbonate of soda and vinegar instead of chemical yeast? It's more natural.
Best regards,
Anne, another student of Mrs Bouhmid's courses.
